What's the difference between SonoCine and Traditional Ultrasound?
Current method breast ultrasound:
Hand held ultrasound
Focused exam only (palpable lump or mass found by mammogram)
American College of Radiology ACR does not support using this method to screen the
entire breast
What circumstances make someone a candidate for SonoCine?
Dense breast tissue
Family history of breast cancer
Personal history of breast cancer
Previous biopsy of high risk lesion
Augmentation
Lumpy breasts
Pregnant/nursing with breast problems
